Challenger Learning Center Public Missions - A Unique Experience For Families

A family experience that is out of this world! The Challenger Learning Center is a simulated space mission that uses hands-on, inquiry based activities to engage participants in teamwork, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking.

A day of holiday events lands at the Museum with the airplane arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at 10 a.m. The jolly couple will hear childrens’ wishes in the Museum until 2 p.m., while the galleries are filled with holiday fun with music by the Boeing Concert Orchestra and the Boeing Band. Family workshops at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. celebrate the “Wright Spirit” of the most famous brothers in the history of aviation: Wilbur and Orville Wright – inventors of the airplane.
