SEATTLE, May 13, 2009--The Museum of Flight's resident drama troupe, Amazing Skies Theater, will perform "CanadiYanks" May 16--Armed Forces Day--and May 23 in the William M. Allen Theater. "CanadiYanks" is a new, one-act play based upon the true story of Canadian Maj. Harold E. Hartney, who transferred to the American army in 1917 to prepare "Yank" airmen for service on the front lines of World War I. The play also spins the true, bittersweet yarn of a young American couple, Malcolm Gunn and Marge Van Sciver, who must confront the worst possible tragedy of war. Music for the show will be sung by the Alpha Singers, a local choral group who have been performing in the Northwest for over 20 years. Amazing Skies Theater is a multi-generational drama troupe comprised of volunteers from all around the Puget Sound.

The performances are free with admission to the Museum.
