1950s radio broadcast of Ray Bradbury sci-fi reenacted in Museum's theater

SEATTLE, May 25, 2011--Reenactments of the 1950s live radio broadcast of Ray Bradbury's "Mars Is Heaven," will be on stage at The Museum of Flight on June 11 and 12 at 2 p.m. Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound (REPS) will perform the drama with live sound effects and actors reading multiple roles. The story, "Mars is Heaven," was included in Bradbury's classic "The Martian Chronicles," published in 1948, and adapted for radio in the early 1950s.

The non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest independent air and space museums in the world. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors 65 and older, $13 for active military, $9 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5.
