Santa Landing & Caspar Babypants
Saturday, December 14 10am - 1pm
Legendary North Pole sleigh pilot Santa Claus and Seattle musician Casper Babypants come to the Museum for a family-friendly holiday celebration. Watch Santa arrive by plane and be serenaded by holiday music from the Boeing Band and Boeing Concert Orchestra.
Following Santa's arrival, join Seattle rock legend Caspar Babypants for a 45-minute concert for kids of all ages.
Spaceflight Academy will be a hands-on, interactive exhibit in the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery, which will educate, entertain, and inspire Museum visitors on the subjects of astronaut training, the physics of space travel, living and working in space, and the future of space exploration. It will be an extraordinary environment for the more than 500,000 visitors to the Museum each year, including some 150,000 school children, who can't wait to be inspired by the thrill of space.
Thanks to a generous matching challenge from one of our trustees, all gifts to Spaceflight Academy or the Museum’s Annual Fund will be matched 1 to 1 up to $50,000 between now and Dec. 31.
